Can we use a purchased domain?

We’ve just recently bought a domain name and would like to use that domain name while staying with wordpress. Is that as simple as purchasing the ‘premium package’ or what would you suggest?

It’s possible, you just have to:
1. Purchase the Mapping upgrade
2. Point the DNS nameservers to WordPress.comYou can find full instructions on this support page under “Instructions for Mapping an Existing Domain”:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#instructions-for-mapping-an-existing-domainOnce configured, it might take up to 48 hours for the domain to update.
