Can we use Google Analytics with WordPress?

  The answer to my question contradicts what Google is saying on their Tracking Code page. Can we use Google Analytics on wordpress and if so how? Google is saying it can be used with wordpress. Thanks, Shannon

  You can use Google Analytics for WordPress.ORG blogs. That is most likely what Google is referring to.

  and why only .ORG blogs? Why not all of them?.Don’t understand that.
  Why then I see bloggers with WordPress using Analytics, doubt they are .ORG??….

  It’s a plugin. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  It’s for security. Only certain kinds of codes, which cannot be exploited by hackers, can be used here.
