Can widgets be put between the header and content in Sandbox?
-
I’d like to have a linear site, with the header at the top, then widgets (with links / text), then posts. Simple.
Can it be done in Sandbox? The only standard layouts have widgets in columns next to the content, rather than above it.

I have custom CSS, but I’m having trouble re-arranging the DIVs. I can get the content above the widgets in a single column, but not the other way round.
Can it be done?

orbvab, I thought I already told you to answer only if you think to know the answer.
leechio, you’ll have to play around with .sidebar, but I’m not sure how. Maybe you can find something helpful here: http://www.sndbx.org/live-preview/ or here: http://www.sndbx.org/forums/

I think you could do it but it’s not going to be easy to make it look good.
First you’ll need to move the body of your page down to make room for the widgets. Then move the sidebar up and across and set the width to the same as your wrapper. I think if you set your widgets to display: inline; that should get them lined up the way you want. But it’s going to look very messy since they’ll all be different heights.
