Can WordAds be used if website is hosted with bluehost?

  If I host my website/domain through bluehost, can I still use wordads? Or does everything have to be in house with wordpress to use word ads?

  Still in the beginnging stages of blogging but trying to plan for the future.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there, yes, you can, but only if you have the Jetpack plugin.

  WordAds is available for all Jetpack users on the Premium or Professional plan.

  Note that other blogs with the Jetpack plugin (but not Premium or Professional) can apply but require a certain amount of traffic which is not published to be accepted to the programme.

  So even if I’m paying to host through bluehost, I also need to be paying wordpress (via their premium plans) to use wordads?

  If you wish to be automatically accepted without reaching a minimum traffic amount, then yes, that is correct. Bluehost and Automattic are separate companies.
