Can WordPress allow you to make reservations online?

  I’m trying to build a website that will let me.

  § Reserve meeting space/day offices online
  § Pay online
  § Schedule site visit
  § Request information

  I was not able to find out if WordPress offered any options like this. I appreciate any help that is given, and if more information is needed, do not hesitate to ask!

  The Stay theme is specifically developed for hotels and guest houses and if you sign up trough the Hotels landing page a reservation enquiry widget is included. It does not allow for real-time reservations and payment, however. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/stay/

  It should be possible to set up an account at a website that provides reservations services and link to that from your WordPress.com account as well.

  Alternatively you can look at the self-hosted option at WordPress.org. With this option you’ll have to take responsibility for the maintenance of your site and you’ll probably have to hire a professional to set it up with all the necessary security, but you’ll be able to install any reservation plugins you need.   Thank you for the response. This is sort of what I am looking for, but the payment and reservation services are a must have. I found a pretty cool plug-in that will suit my needs. The link is below.

  Plugins cannot be used on a WordPress.com site. I think you want a WordPress.ORG site instead.

  Okay. My understanding is that this can still be used with a business website. Am I incorrect?

  Also, I have a domain already. That is transferrable to a wordpress theme correct?

  The only additional features available with the business package are the ones listed here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/

  For any additional plugins you’ll need a self-hosted setup.

  The business upgrade includes a custom domain. If you already have a domain you can map it to your WordPress.com site instead. http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
