Can You Add a Members Only Section to Your Webpage?
-
I have a free account where I created a webpage for a small linage society that I belong to. I have not yet published the webpage as we are still working on it. However, once we publish it we do want the public to be able to see it. However, the question has been asked is it possible to create a page on our WordPress website that only members can access? Is this possible? Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Staying on the free plan, the closest you can get is to password-protect the page. Then you only provide the password to those people you want to have access.

To have a proper membership area where each member has their own unique login, you’ll need to use a membership plugin, and that requires our Business Plan.

There is also a third option where you use two sites – a public one, and a private one where you only give access to members, which they’ll then access via their WordPress.com username accounts.
