Can you add a short-link button to the new editor?
-
I love the new editor for creating posts! Streamlined, user-friendly, and all-around terrific. It’s just missing one imperative thing – a “get shortlink” button. That’s the only button I use for every single post that isn’t in the new editor. Can you add one, so I don’t have to flip back and forth between the old and new editors?
Also, while I’m asking you for things, it would be great if under “Categories,” the categories that I have nested under others would show up as such. (I.e., under the category “red carpet” I have a subcategory for awards shows, and it would be great to see that nested underneath the main category, rather than just having them in alphabetical order.)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll pass along that feedback to our developers about the shortlink and how categories are displayed. :)
In the meantime, you can also get the shortlink from the admin bar while viewing a post on your blog: http://en.support.wordpress.com/shortlinks/#shortlink-from-admin-bar
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help!
