Can you add keywords & or meta tags in your Blog Title and Tagline?
-
I did a blog site check and returned the following errors:
Warnings – Keywords = found No Meta Tag found. Create one now
Warnings – Description = found No Meta Tag found. Create one now
so is there a way to change and or add to that? * I do not see any way to change and or add HTML and or Meta data to that.

No we cannot access our meta data on wordpress.com blogs and it doesn’t matter anyway. Matt Cutts has confirmed that meta data was too easy for unscrupulous webmasters to manipulate, and Google hasn’t used it for a long time. He also confirmed that Google won’t be using it in the future.
This is what you need to do with a new wordpress.com blog to verufy it with the big 3 search engines http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/

Also for submitting a sitemap see http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines

Thanks time thief.
I did verify it with the top 3 search engines.
and some stuff shows up –I just thought it would make sense if you had keywords or meta data (like all of the other websites out there) telling about your MAIN PAGE that all of these search engines crawl, esp. for the main place.
and I am a newbie, so when I ran “test” on my bog and those errors came up that needed attention and or fixing – I thought there was yet another hidden feature of WP that is not well-documented.

Note that you can change your blog’s visibility to the public and to search engines through Privacy Settings. > Settings > Privacy
Choose the first of the 3 options and then click “Save Settings” .This is the setting used by most blogs. It lets everyone read your blog and allows your blog to be included in search engines and other content sites.
___ I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers)
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/Your blog already has a news sitemap generated at yourblogname.wordpress.com/news-sitemap.xml. The only thing you have to do to enable it is to log in to Google Webmaster Tools and add it as another sitemap. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines
