Can you alias picture URLs so they show in China?
-
Our blog is currently a WordPress.com subdomain. It is blocked in China. If we buy a new domain name I assume that would not be blocked but what about all the picture and media content inside the posts? We have an entire web team that can use XML to re-create the blog under our corporate subdomain, i.e, blogs.atmel.com. We don’t want to just move the blog to self-hosted, we would break all the incoming links to hundreds of posts on the existing blog. If we do replicate the blog under the atmel.com domain, is there anyway you can alias all the existing wordpress.com post and picture URLs to the new domain so we don’t lose those legacy links? We would gladly pay for this service, or anyway to change both the blog URL and the pictures and media URLs so they will not be blocked in China.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Well how about this, can WordPress give permission to direct blogs.atmel.com to the server that is hosting our blog? We would need the DNS values. That way we would not be blocked in China, and then we would simply have to remove all WordPress.com hosted pictures inside the blog posts right?
