Can you "block" people from your blog?

  Hi all,

  I’m hoping that someone can help me out here. Is there a way to “block” people from your blog? For example, I know on livejournal you can make your blog “friends only” so that only people (other livejournal users) you designate as a “friend” can see your blog. Is there a way to do this via wordpress? It doesn’t have to necessarily be in the same manner – having a password to have access or anything like that would work as well.

  Hi. Yes, you can make your blog private …

  …and invite up to 35 people to view it (with username and password)
