can you change that advertisement on my blog?

    I don’t like to see that advertisement on my post: http://fairlifebook.wordpress.com/2011/04/22/fair-life%e2%80%94chapter-2-fair-games-sample-paragraphs/

    First of all that ad is completely ruining the atmosphere of the content of that post;
    secondly, I am even not able to access that post on my own computer because of that disney movie ad…I have to go to other’s computer to access that post since my browser does not support that kind video.

    Thanks a lot for the response. I don’t have problem against ad in general….however, that specific ad causes problem for me to access my own post from my browser (vista, ie 7)….the following is the error message screenshot:

    I can access that page from other computer though, and I can access other posts of this blog of mine from this computer without any problem…..

    Like I said that I don’t have problem with ad in general, but could you change another one which is not a vedio….apparently that my browser cannot support some kind vedio ads….plus, my blog is philosophy blog as you might find, which doesnot go along with disney funny cartoon vedio in the atmosphere….

    Is IE 7 the only browser having trouble with this?

    Also, since you’re using Vista, can you upgrade to IE 9? It’s really a much better browser, with less bugs and less security vulnerabilities.

    I am sorry that I am not able to answer your question since I don’t have the resource to a thorough test for a variety of browser…..I have tried many times to upgrade my browser to IE 9 but I could not do it: I downloaded the software and install it, and get the error message saying that I don’t have the right service pack, and then I go to Microsoft site to download the service pack based on the error message, and I was told that the software I am looking for is not available……I guess I don’t have the ability to change microsoft……..I am just requesting that could you change an ad on my post so that I could access my post from my own computer?

    Ads can’t be controlled on a per-blog basis, but we’re looking into what we can do about the display of the ad itself.

    With that said, IE 7 is a pretty buggy and an insecure browser, and I’d hate to see anyone stuck on it. Is there any chance that you could “upgrade” to Chrome or Firefox? Either one would be way better than IE 7.
