Can you create a page to write blog posts?

Hi, I want to create a page for writing blog posts onto my site so you don’t have to have access to the editor. It would give you a template and then you would just write what you need to and publish from that page. Is that possible?

Out of the box, it’s not possible to do that. The closest you can get is via posts by email and more information of that can be seen here: https://wordpress.com/support/post-by-email/
That’s quite a specific requirement – what are you looking to build exactly? The reason why I ask is because it may be possible with a plugin, but with something like this – post moderation may be something to keep in mind.

It’s for a company to update their customers for information. The page would probably be under password protection. The information could be changes in opening times or just product or anniversary updates. So moderation is not really required as it wouldn’t be accessible outside of one user.
If it’s not possible with pages, I’ll probably just make a template. -
