  Hi there,

  In most cases there is no problem with quoting a short extract of a text with attribution, but copyright is something that is governed by local and international laws, and if the owner of that content were to challenge your use of their content in court it would be up to a judge to decide whether it’s allowed or not. Under the DMCA they can also request that your hosting provider, us in this case, remove that content from your site.

  Copying an entire article written by someone else would almost certainly be considered a copyright violation, regardless whether or not you gave credit to the author.
