Can you earn money from WordPress?

  I’m just curious as I’ve only just started about 3 weeks ago and I have 288 views? Is that good or not?!

  There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. This is the homepage for the WordAds program: http://www.wordads.co/ There you will find the application page as well as FAQs.

  Know that there are many different blog niches and apples and oranges stats comparisons have zero value.

  It depends.

  Do you do soemthing people will pay money for, like consulting, coaching, design, etc? If so, you can use your blog to draw customers.

  I got like 0.09c in my first month with Wordads. I thought its roughly $1 per 1000 views. I had alot more than 900 views in the month.

  I will be happy if I get more than 900 views this month. I just started and everyday I check out my stats and I’m underwhelmed. If you think there is a mistake you can probably ask for a revision though.

  Not that I’m aware. They “disappeared” my ads in April and didn’t reactivate them till August and they didn’t agree to pay out the lost monies.

  So I guess if I ever get a good number of views every month I should switch to WordPress.org? I assume I can import my blog there entirely and then register with google Adsense or Amazon’s program?
