Can you edit a published static page and will that change the original date?

  Can a published page be edited?

  No problem! Published static pages can be edited by going to Dashboard > Pages > All Pages and selecting the page you want to edit.

  It will not automatically change the original date, but you can change it if you want, by finding where it says “Published on” on your page edit screen, and clicking the ‘Edit’ link underneath the date.

  Static pages don’t generally show a date so I’m not sure in what context you would need to change one.

  I did notice, though, that you don’t have any static pages. Is it possible you’re referring to a post? Here’s some info on the difference, just in case.
