Can you edit Google listings?
-
Hi
Does anyone know if and how I can edit the Google subsection listings for my site:Kubrick on the Guillotine Google listing?
At the moment, other than ‘Video’, it’s reading tags and not the pages from my site, such as ‘Journal’ or ‘Review’.
Any help would be great.
The site is here: Kubrick on the Guillotine
Thanks

Hello,
I’m sorry but I have no help to offer you. All search engine issues are strictly between bloggers and search engines. http://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/Also note that is you are refering to static Pages they aren’t at all like Posts. I also visited you most recent post and discovered your excessive tagging AKA as spamdexing.
See here > global tags > missing posts
See here: wordpress.com search > missing posts1. Spamdexing is the deliberate assignment of an excessive number of tags to a post aimed to get search engine attention. It’s a well known spammer’s tactic and as the motive is crystal clear, note that search engine spiders will detect that behavior and COUGH! your posts can be buried on the very last page in the SERPs in nanoseconds flat.
2. We don’t need to use categories and tags to our posts at all. Our content can stand on it’s own as search spiders detect keywords in the text of the posts. Keywords occur in any language when that language is naturally written or spoken. So is it worth spending time on creating tags and categories for SEO purposes? The short answer is “no”.
