Can you edit your subscribers ?
-
Good Morning …
Over the past few days my subscribers have been growing one or two a day it seems. And I get the welcome note in my mail box and I click on the new subscribers account.
Some, I don’t get why they would subscribe. And it seems fishy to me, that I have all of a sudden started gaining subscribers when I have gone weeks and months without one to begin with aside from my “groupies” who follow me.
I don’t know if the accounts are spam, and they are spread all over the world and don’t seem to have anything in common with what I blog about, except for a few of my subscribers. The last bunch that came through over the last 2 days seem suspect to me.
I’m wondering if you have seen this trend or had anyone else ask the same questions as of late?
I don’t see a way to block subscribers from the blog, and why would you want to block a subscriber unless they are suspect or a spammer blog. But I found this new trend of subscribers kinda fishy.
Thanks for listening.

While we aren’t able to remove subscribers from your public site you are able to control your privacy options at Settings > Privacy. There you can set a site to private and have full control over who can access and subscribe to content. We have more details about this at:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/
For public blogs anyone can subscribe and while each user can remove their own subscriptions we aren’t able to manually remove subscribers for you.
It’s often hard to tell why someone would subscribe to a blog, but they can’t do any harm by reading it.
