Can you get make a reply off your blog?

I am trying to make a blog that looks professional so I want to know if there is way to take off the “leave a reply” at the bottom of each page? I looked under settings and discussion and could not find the appropriate category to check? Please advise…

For existing posts or pages, you can turn off comments and pings for each one individually while you are editing:
http://support.wordpress.com/posts/post-discussion/You can use the Settings > Discussion post to change the default for new articles. To make it so that comments are off for new articles, uncheck the option that says “Allow people to post comments on new articles.”
