Can you give me info about starting up a website for a student organization?

  Hi! My name is Sarah McKenna and I am on the executive of a student fundraising group at a university. We are looking to start a website for our group and we heard that wordpress is a very affordable option. We want it to be a “.com” or “.org” url so obviously we will have to pay. How does payment work? Do you pay by credit card or another way? Also, our membership rotates each year so is it easy to transfer payment info to another person? How much do you charge per year and what does that get you? Does it get you a domain name, hosting space, templates to set up website?

  Domains can be purchased with a CreditCard or PayPal account. You can easily change the creditcard details yearly. If you want a Domain, you can go to Store > Domains on your blog’s dashboard and follow the steps there.
