Can you have two blogs, completely separate and untraceable to each other?

Hi, I have one blog (nikascorner), which is anonymous, but I would like to start another, more public blog that i can share with friends, but I don’t want them to see my “anonymous” blog (or even know that I have it).

Do I need two separate log-ins/accounts or can i manage them both under the same account? I want to keep my anonymous blog anonymous, as its just private stuff I write for me, and i don’t want my friends to be able to see it, or see some sort of link to it, on the new blog.

    Thanks
    Nika

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can have as many blogs attached to your account as you’d like, and they can all be as separate as you’d like. You can also have as many accounts as you’d like, and they can be as separate as you’d like.

I’ve tried the same thing in the past… it’s easiest to make an entirely new account, with a new username, then make sure your new avatar is linked to the new blog and keep your blogs out of your blogrolls. Something I did which screwed me up for a little while was leave a comment on one blog using the other blogs avatar… so the two blogs were linked for a little while and some friends found the one I was trying to keep private.

Whichever way you do it just make sure there’s no linkage between the blogs and you’ll be okay. And careful with the search words… it could get weird if you use similar names or terminology on both blogs.

    Good luck.

    I would have to caution:

Make two completely separate accounts, with two completely different contact emails. Do NOT have one be Myname@hotmail and the other Myname@gmail. Make them completely, utterly different. Do not have links between the blogs, not even in the sidebar.

And, as feartheseeds says, make darn sure to sign in and sign out appropriately before leaving comments. I’d NEVER comment on one blog as the other identity; there’s just too much probability that eventually someone will put two and two together. I’ve seen it happen so often!

thanks very much. I think completely separate accounts is the way to go!
