  I’m not sure what you want. Do you have some site other than http://thegablesgarden.wordpress.com/ and you want to put a link to it from http://thegablesgarden.wordpress.com/? If so, put it in a text widget in your sidebar.

  The easiest way is to highlight the words you’d like to have serve as the link, click the chain-links image above your composition box, then type or copy the link there. Here is more information on using links.
