Can you help me edit my CSS?
-
Hi – another question – I have now changed my blog template to Black-Letterhead so I have 2 sidebars but I’m not 100% happy with the format. Is there anyway I can, using the CSS sheet edit:
1) Make the background to the text white and the text black (I hate white text on black)
2) Make the date for each of my posts larger, more like a title?
I am useless at this so would really appreciate if someone could give me some code or hints on how/if I can do this easily?
Many thanks!

You cannot add plugins to a WP.com blog, but you CAN generally find a workaround for most things. If you do a forum search for Subscribe button you’ll find some suggestions; depending on whether you mean subscribe via RSS or subscribe via email the suggestions differ.
And do you have the CSS upgrade purchased? You won’t be able to make lasting changes to the CSS without it, although you can tinker with the preview to see if what you want to do will work or not; there’s no cost for that. If you have not already purchased the CSS upgrade, I strongly recommend you not do it until you’re fluent in using CSS. The kind of support you’re requesting is extremely rare here. Staff doesn’t support CSS changes, and the number of forum volunteers who know what they’re doing with it is about…three.
