Can you help me fix my front page?

    Hi,

    The blog screen currently is very messed up, and I’m not sure why it’s doing it or how to fix it. The main blog entry looks fine in the left hand column, but in the right hand column where all of my widgets normally are there is a cut off stream of previous blog entries. i’m not explaining this well, but you can see it at http://www.notmerelyliving.com, my blog site.

    Please help me to fix this. It is driving me nuts. I’m sure I pushed some button like an idiot that i wasn’t supposed to push.

    Hi! This usually happens because of some extra HTML in a post. The issue on your site looks to be with this post.

    The specific issue looks to be with some extra image code like:

    </dd></dl></div>

    I’d recommend removing the images temporarily and then re-inserting them as we describe at:

    Working With Images

    Thanks Andrew. The method described in the tutorial is exactly how I inserted all of the photos. I did not write any code (wouldn’t know how) :)

    Sorry if this is an ignorant question, but would it be possible just to remove the extra code? That seems like it might take a lot less time than re-inserting all of the photos.

    Unfortunately, the best way to go about this is to really replace each image.

    Something happened at some point after the photos were uploaded to add all that extra stuff in there. Perhaps it happened while writing the caption (maybe it was copied from elsewhere).

    In either case, I think a gallery might be better for you want to do: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
