Can you help me map my email to my domain?

    I have clicked the ‘edit DNS’ link next to my primary domain and tried to enter 1 MX and 1 CNAME record. I have verified with Register.com (my website host) that the information I am trying to enter (below) is valid.

    MX 10 inbound.registeredsite.com
    CNAME mail.mintyfreshsf.com

    However, I continue to get the following error message when I click the validate button:

    1. CNAME records should be “CNAME <subdomain> <domain>”. No wildcards (*).

    Also, Register.com told me that I need to add “points to mymail5.myregisteredsite.com” but I don’t see how to do that in the format that WordPress requires.

    Please go to the “Edit DNS” page and use these MX records instead:

    MX 10 inbound.registeredsite.com.
    CNAME mail mymail5.myregisteredsite.com.
