Can you help with problems in my Media Library?

  My images can no longer be expanded as previously.
  Any thoughts?
  Also I have a blank item in my Media Library which I cannot delete.
  Is this a related problem or a purple parakeet (red herring)?

  I have the upgrade to Pro Bundle.

  Hi there,

  When you say that you can no longer expand your images, what do you mean? Is this after they are posted? Could you give me an example?

  Also, what page is the item which you cannot delete?

  Hi, and thanks for responding so promptly.
  Yes, in the post.
  Previously if you clicked on the image it would appear in a page by itself and if you clicked on that it would be displayed in its full size.
  Now it does not do any of that.
  Example, all 3 images in post:

  The blank item is quite strange.
  If I go to media library it is not there.
  If I go to New Post and Add Media then it shows as the second item in my library.
  Blank image, no details, no delete option.
  Any ideas?

  Hiya!

  First, let me say it’s my pleasure to help! I went to Glasgow Uni for my graduate work and miss the West End all the time! :)

  Second, when you insert an image, there’s a setting on the right where you can select what it links to. You want to make sure that you link it to the image, or else it is just an image with no link. I’ve gone through and updated the images in this post so they’ll work as you’d like (to update any others, just update the post, click on the image, then click on the little icon which looks like a post card. Then for link click “image” and save updates).

  As for the ghost image in your Media Library, that is very strange! I went through your entire Media Library and could not find it, nor could I find a way to delete it. It doesn’t seem to be hurting things, though!

  Don’t know when that link got changed, I was unaware of it and it always worked in the past, so I guess I inadvertently botched it at some point!

  Glad you have happy memories of the West End.
  I lived there for many years, very alive area.
