Can you import content to free version of WordPress?

  What level of WordPress is required to import content from a self-hosted WordPress site? The documentation says to use the Import option from the Tools menu but I can’t find the Tools menu on the free version of WordPress.com. Is a paid subscription level required? If so, which one is least expensive for this purpose (basic blog but allow import of content)?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. You don’t need any upgrades to import content.

  The Tools menu should be in the sidebar on your dashboard. It’s the second option from the bottom.
