Can you make this more user friendly?

    How do you find people without a social network? I am a college student recquired to use this website as a networking communication tool for my classmates and teacher. This website has left me completely frusterated and clueless because i cant find any users in my class when i search for them. I found one person this whole week. Please make finding people easier. It would also be great to see who other users follow so someone whose in my situation can find the teacher and follow all the student through his or her profile.

    How about writing the name / URL of one of the blogs in class on the board in class?? –

    then everyone can visit that blog and leave a comment with their blog URL in it (or linked to their name as mine is) – then all of you would have the addresses of the other blogs and you can start following each other and leaving comets etc.
