Can you make VideoPress videos only stream as opposed to being downloadable?
-
I would like to use WordPress in a similar manner as an LMS. I was wondering if VideoPress secured content so they’re not downloadable but rather only be streamed?
Thank you.

Does this help?
See here > https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/embeding-livestream?replies=5#post-737117 Then see here > http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/07/03/gigya-shortcode-1-videos/ -

But:
Note: Disabling sharing removes functionality, but it is still possible for an advanced user to determine the video URL using automated tools to capture the URL or copy the video. We take reasonable steps to prevent embedding on other sites by hiding the sharing options, and that will stop most attempts.

Oops!
Just to double check have you read these?

Thanks so much for these threads. Have either of you used VideoPress and disabled the downloading options? Does it appear simply as a streamed video in this case with play and pausing features?

You be welcome
I don’t use VideoPress – I do a few training videos, they are hosted on Vimeo or YouTube, they can be embedded by others – all are PowerPoint presentations and my web site is displayed in the videos –
