Can you move my webmail ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) via a Google App. for me?

  I have my site http://www.colourofwords.com hosted by WordPress now, but I want my e-mail ((email visible only to moderators and staff) moved from DigitallyHip.com of Bowen Island move to Word Press.com, too. I do not like the type of e-mail system I have that came from BlueFur in the past. It has No folders or spam protection!! It is a mess…. can a Google e-mail use my web mail address in the background?
  Can you do this for me? I am a Baby techie of 78 years of age.

  Hi there,

  I can definitely help you get this setup. First, there are two main options for custom email addresses at WordPress.com:

  1. You can setup email forwarding following the instructions here:

     http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-forwarding/

     In this scenario, email to your custom address (bernice-at-colourofwords.com for example) would be forwarded to an address you already own (like a Gmail address for instance).

  2. You can add a custom email address through a third-party as explained here:

     http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/

     In this scenario, you would be setting up a separate address with a separate inbox. It sounds like this is what you had setup before through BlueFur. If you would like to change from BlueFur to Google Apps, you can follow the instructions under Google Apps at the link above.
