Can you number the comments on a post (1, 2, 3, etc) with a WordPress.com site?

  Is it possible to number the comments on a post (1, 2, 3, etc) with a WordPress.com site? I’d like to be able to make each comment I receive be individually numbered. Can anyone help me with how to do this?
