Can you open and run PowerPoint by just clicking on a loaded media file link?

  I want to add a Powerpoint presentation http://beestonu3a.org.uk/2013/06/03/june-2013-open-meeting-announcements/2013-month-6-2/ to this post http://beestonu3a.org.uk/2013/06/03/june-2013-open-meeting-announcements/ so that when you click on the presentation link it downloads and opens up and plays automatically. Can this be done on WordPress and how?

  Uploading file on your WordPress.com site only allows you to insert a download link to a file. If you wish to embed the actual document into a post or page, you can use external services such as Scribd, Slideshare, or Microsoft Skydrive.
