  Can you please close this account? I am trying to log in with google only
  I created an account with my email (email visible only to moderators and staff)
  but this was done in error. My companies process is to log in with Google only.
  I tried to delete my account but it still recognized my email and would not let me log in with Google. I asked to have my account reopened. ANd I changed my email address from (email visible only to moderators and staff) to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
  I need to make sure that my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) is in no way associated with my account, then I need to close my account.
  My goal is to log in using my gmail account (email visible only to moderators and staff) and to have word press not recognize the account that I created in error. Thanks for any assistance. I was not able to manually close my account so I am hoping you can do that for me. Best, Anne [redacted]

  Hi there,

  So you want your WordPress.com account to be associated with your Gmail account? It already is (see https://wordpress.com/me/account/), and the financialForce email is not associated with any account on WordPress.com, including this one, so it’s not clear what else you want to do.

  Do you mean you want the Sign in with Gmail option to be the only option, i.e. no alternative option to use a password? If so, that’s not possible. You can create an account using passwordless login, but once you manually set a password there’s no way to remove it and go back to passwordless-only.

  Deleting the account will not help. All that will achieve is that you won’t be able to use the username, annehcollins on WordPress.com any more.
