Can you please refresh the custom DNS records I edited?

    Hi there,

My name is CC and I am having a HELL of a time setting up my email inbox for my business. I decided to use WordPress as a host for my website http://www.socialconsciencemedia.ca. I’ve been trying to get my email address (email visible only to moderators and staff) set up. I’d purchased the Office 365 package from GoDaddy and they were great with sending me all the coding I needed to edit in for the DNS Records on WordPress. The issue we are currently having is that when an external DNS Records check is done, the CNAMES (5 in total) and the SRV (2 in total) are not showing up. Therefore I can’t launch my email address for my business. The GoDaddy Tech I just spoke to said to ask you guys to refresh the DNS records so the CNAMES and SRVs show up in an external check. The other option he said is to give us another A Record. If I can’t get this sorted out soon, I’m going to have to give up on WordPress and let GoDaddy reset the DNS Records and map my email through their site. I’d prefer to stay with WordPress. Can you help have my email up and running please? Thanks. You can also contact me at (email visible only to moderators and staff)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

It looks like your email address DNS records are currently setup correctly. They also are displaying on your domain record shown here:

    http://who.is/dns/socialconsciencemedia.ca

Has your email address begun working? Just a note, you will need to follow a few steps in Office 365 following our instructions here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-office-365/

Let me know if your email address isn’t working correctly!

Hi Jeremy, I’ve tried logging in that way and it doesn’t work. I’ve checked the password on file we used when we bought the email Office365 package and (email visible only to moderators and staff) and it’s correct. I know I edited the DNS records correctly. For some reason the CNAMES don’t show up when GoDaddy does a check. I’m at a loss as to what to do next.

    Hi there!

I just want to make sure we’re on the same page regarding the DNS records and where they are entered.

Can you explain a bit more by what you mean when you say “I’ve tried logging in that way and it doesn’t work”? Do you mean that you’ve logged the records, but the email address doesn’t work or the process of logging the records as explained here doesn’t work?

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-office-365/

For some reason the CNAMES don’t show up when GoDaddy does a check.

Since your domain is mapped to WordPress.com, you’re entering the records at WordPress.com, not at GoDaddy. Is that correct? I just want to make sure we’re on the same page! The records will not appear on the GoDaddy side as they are entered at WordPress.com.

Moving forward, can you try removing all of your DNS records and re-adding them alongside the instructions in this video?

Currently, it looks like some of your SRV records may be entered incorrectly.
