Can you please "unlink" my domain to my old wordpress hosting?

  I would like to “unlink” my domain (non-typicaltaxidermy.com) from the WordPress blog (nttaxidermy.wordpress.com) that it is currently linked to. This is because I am transferring to the Godaddy WordPress Hosting Plan so that I can utilize the library of plugins that is currently unavailable on my WordPress hosting. I have already bought the Godaddy wordpress hosting, but I can’t use it until I get rid of the old hosting that is still connected to the same domain. To clarify, I don’t want to delete the domain itself, I just don’t want http://non-typicaltaxidermy.com to redirect to be attached to my old wordpress hosting plan, but instead to be attached to my new plan. Can you please help me do this?

  Howdy,

  You can keep your domain registered here, and simply change your name servers:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

  If you’re not sure which name servers to use, you can obtain this information from GoDaddy.
