Can you provide a CODE for wordpress.COM FOLLOW button as a URL?

    Hello.

Facebook offers various code”formats” for their buttons. Let’s take the example of FACEBOOK FOLLOW button :

    https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/follow/

When you click get the code, you’ll notice one has these options: HTML5 XFBML IFRAME and URL.

Specifically, the URL code can be very useful as you can insert a hyperlink anywhere in a page (i.e : click here to FOLLOW) making it easier for people to follow your page!

    My question is:

Can wordpress.COM offer something similar(URL code that can be inserted into a page), as lots of people would follow a blog this way, if you let them know (i.e. : click here) rather than searching for the follow button themselves(witch is in the bottom right corner).

I think this could be very helpful, and that it respects your standards and values, rather than asking you to insert pop up widgets asking people to subscribe when they attempt to leave a page. People tend to be vary “lazy” when it comes to looking for the follow button, or they can even FORGET.

    Regards!
