Can you put flash banners in the header?

  I realized that after I posted. Noting that I had signed in to my wordpress account and not wordpress support. Ha!

  It works in Firefox, but not in IE. Not sure about other browsers.

  Flash headers can be done with regular wordpress fround at http://wordpress.org They can not be done with WordPress Multiuser which is used here at http://wordpress.com Since this is a shared environment, allowing them and other flash programs entered by the user, would be a major security risk.

  I invite the poster to read the Please read me first sticky for more details. Also we don’t have access to teh theme files like you suggested.

  You’re right. The similarity in naming means that many bloggers come to this forum rather than to http://wordpress.org/support. If they all read the sticky post (wordpress.com or wordpress.org – the differences) https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic.php?id=3700 prior to posting to the forum. Or if they checked the FAQs http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/07/wordpresscom-vs-wordpressorg/ then we wouldn’t need to redirect them and less time would be lost when it comes to securing answer to questions.
