Can you re-allocate a URL that it may gain traffic?

    Hello! I was wondering if it would be possible to re-assign the URL violetta.wordpress.com to me for use as a travel blog as I move around western Europe? This particular blog has never been used and I would really like the name. I would put this URL to use and expect it would have at least a few hundred hits before long. Please let me know.

    Hi Nick!

    If violetta.wordpress.com is not currently yours, someone else is using it and it cannot be given to you.

    If that person were to delete the blog it would still be unavailable, as wordpress.com domains are never recycled.
