Can you reallocate an address that's no longer used?

  Hi. I’m looking to use another wordpress.com blog, however the address I want has already been taken but has no content. If it’s no longer active, could I have the address?

  Unfortunately, WordPress does not allow for the recycling of names. This is done for security reasons. WordPress does not want someone else taking your blog name and pretending to be you.
