Can you really embed slideshows?
-
I’ve read so many conflicting threads my head is spinning.
Other than Rockyou and Slide are there any other slideshows that can be embedded in WP?I have been on Google and Youtube, both of which contain slideshows but I can’t figure out what application people are using so that it reads them as “video.” Does someone have a definite solution? I want something that I can add music to, BUT if that’s not possible I’m ok w/ embedding audio into the post if need be.
I have created slideshows in AnvSoft Flash which produces an swf file, then converted it to avi and tried to upload to google and there is always an error. Same for youtube, except youtube does this weird screen capture of the video and ruins it. I’ve since deleted them.
Anyone who can help me figure out how to post video-slideshows on my blog is my freakin superhero! Thank you!

Thanks time, but I”d read all those.
Slideshare requires some file format that i don’t have a clue how to create.
My understanding w/ flickr is that it will only use the images that are in your “main” part of flickr, not the albums so i’d have to switch them out and therefore lose “old slideshows’ on my blog when I want to add more.
And I”m not interested in having it for a widget.
I was given a link to some other WP users page that supposedly had slideshows, but now the link is inactive.

I like BubbleShare, but you have to add a separate audio track to your post. With Pulpmotion, you can add your pictures and also music. It will produce a slide-video that you can upload to either YouTube or Dailymotion and then put it into a post. And then there’s my favorite, SnapZ Pro. Rather than try to explain that one here, it’s probably best that you Google for it and read the information yourself. Best wishes in finding one that you like.
