Can you remove the made by on free wordpress templates?

  Hello,

  I have a question I was looking through a few free wordpress themes and I was wondering if the made by or the wordpress link at the bottom of the theme be removed?

  Hi Julio,

  You can change the footer credit to WordPress.com via the Site Identity panel of the WordPress.com Customizer in order to change the wording and make it more discrete. It is, however, only possible to completely remove the credit with the WordPress.com Business plan.
