Can you replace an image's source?

    Hello, since I run a movie review blog, I have a set of “star” rating images that I use to illustrate how I’ve rated a film. I would like to replace the stars with a new design that I think looks better, but I don’t think there’s a way to replace the image associated with a particular piece of media. Is there something I’m overlooking or is what I’m asking for out of the realm of practicality?

    To reiterate: I’m trying to replace the source file of an image while maintaining the same URL, and therefore updating the image on all of the posts where it already appears.

    Hi,
    See the response by panaghiotisadam in the topic Is there an way to replace an image and keep the same link? That was almost four years ago, but I think the answer still applies.
