Can you resolve why I can't seem to post anything?

I’ve been posting on WordPress since last October. My M.O. has been to create my blog on a document, then copy paste it to a post.
Every since you changed the format awhile back, it’s been a pain in the neck. Before when I copy pasted my work, I could so that quite simply, and it appeared exactly as I saw it on my original document. After you changed the format, then I found that I had to copy paste paragraph by paragraph, and then go in and do all the bold print emphasis, italicizing, and so forth. And I could not tell where my graphics accompanying each article was going to show up or even if it was going to show up.
As of yesterday when I copy and then hit the paste function, NOTHING at all shows up, so I cannot get past the title. It simply won’t “paste”!
I was considering going to the expensive upgrade until you all changed the format. So unless this can be resolved, I’m not only going to pull all my articles off WordPress, nor will I pay for an upgrade, but I will probably blog elsewhere.
Sometimes I think you “techies” change things to entertain yourselves, but have not connected with the fact that the enemy of good is better.
All I want to do is post blogs. I’m not into the lingo you people seem to be so proficient at – “Geek Speak” – so all these “help” pages everybody wants people to go to are not helpful. hat I want is communication with another human being to resolve these issues, not a page that I have to spend hours on trying to search my way thru the lingo. Your answers are not “handy”.
People are looking for customer service, What ever happened to THAT?!!!!!!

WordPress.com is on continuous roll out of new code. We are also the guinea pig platform for all WordPress version upgrades. Without any announcement or prior warning we WordPress.COM bloggers suffer through whatever Staff has changed to”improve”out blogging experience, positive feedback is courted, adjustment are made, and then the WordPress version upgrade is made available to WordPress.ORG users.

Staff have changed the editor again. That is a known issue https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/paste-text-broken-visual-editor?replies=9 You may be able to paste when using the Text Edit view as a work around. Using paste as text Visual editor Row 2 icon #5 removes all formatting and spacing.

Thanks. I was able to copy paste but could not include my photo, which is an integral part of what I write. Oh well…

We are continuing to work on these issues. Please keep an eye on the thread linked by timethief for updates. I will be closing this thread, but you are welcome to post there if you are still running into problems with the editor.
