Can you set my unused and inaccessible blog to private for me?

I used to blog for a while at richlord.wordpress.com but I don’t have the login details for it anymore. I don’t have the email address, can’t remember the username and password for it. This was from 2009/10 and have had a number of ‘throwaway’ email accounts since then.

It was a free plan so there was no billing involved. I believe it will have been before 2 factor authentication too.

I understand that WordPress can’t just delete it without any evidence that I am who I say I am, but what I would like to happen is to be able to remove the visibility of the site by requesting that the site is set to private rather than public or hidden.

If WordPress emails the registered email account to request permission, they would get a bounceback email as it will be dead by now. If WordPress sent a new password to that email address, the same thing would happen. It is just taking up space when the site owner can’t get it closed down in the meantime. There must be a way for this to be resolved.

Please can you help me out with this problem.

Hi staff-doublebassd I can’t see the email address to contact you at as it says (email redacted).
