Can you straighten out my problem with domain name and blog name?

  Can you unconfuse my total confusion?
  I have three blogs with you, although I want to combine two. but later.
  I added a fourth which I wanted to be a web page for listing my published books, etc. I added a title patricia-abbott-snyder. Had a terrible time trying to figure how to enter the page as I found no “submit”. Evidently it did submit. While trying to figure that out and not knowing it did submit, I signed for a domain name abbottsnyderdot.com. or abbottsnyder.com Frankly, I am not sure which.
  1. When ask for it I get a page that says can’t be found and at the top of the page is patricia-abbott-snyder – So. I admit I am at an almost total loss with your new routine. I used to find it so simple, but nothing seems to be the same. I admit life progresses, but I guess I still like the old life in more ways than this.
  2. So – Is the domain name not properly accepted? Is there a step I missed?
  3. Are the blog and the domain name somehow linked? I tried to find a way to delete the blog but can’t even find the way to do that. Just go from pillar to post.
  4. Actually I would really like to have patricia-abbott-snyder as the domain name – can I change the name do that without spending another $18.

  Hi there!

  I’m sorry everything is so confusing. I think the largest issue that you’re having is that when you go to:

  http://abbottsnyder.com/

  You’re getting a “Nothing Found” page. The reason you’re getting that is not because the site itself is missing, but instead because there’s no content uploaded quite yet! You just need to go in and start creating things through your Dashboard in order for that “Nothing Found” page to go away:

  http://abbottsnyder.com/wp-admin

  That said, if you’d rather not have that domain name, we can do that too. I just need for you to explicitly tell me that you want me to delete that domain name (please give me the domain name), and I’ll cancel it and refund you. I do need it quickly though, domains are only refundable for 48 hours after they’re purchased!

  Once that’s been refunded, you can go in and buy the correct domain name that you do want.

  Hi there,

  I’ve gone ahead and cancelled and refunded you for your domain name abbottsnyder.com.

  I’m not able to purchase the additional domain name for you, however if you log into your account’s Dashboard and then go to Store >> Domains, you will see a place where you can type in a domain to purchase. Go ahead and type in pat-abbott-snyder.com and then put through the purchase and the domain will be added to your account!
