  Hi! I’m looking to expand my blog and have a couple contributors coming aboard. I would like my theme to look a little newspaper or magazine-like. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

  Yes. Go to the Themes Showcase and search for “magazine” there. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/subjects/magazine/
  You will find there are also live demo links you can click.
