Can you sync or upload email contacts from iPad to the invitation for private blog ?

I am a novice here but seems I can only invite viewers to my private blog by entering email address one at a time which is very labor intensive as I don’t have my pals contact committed to memory.. I tried cutting and pasting form my iPad contacts but that also has proven to be a multi step one at a time process… Is there a way to upload a designated group of email addresses form my contacts to the invitation bar?
I feel like I am missing something as the rest of the set up has been so user friendly – great thanks for any help !

Hi, you don’t need to enter email addresses one at a time, you can separate multiple emails by commas.

Hi and thank you :) I understand I can enter manually up to 10 at a time but what I would like to do is be able to import 10 addresses at one time rather than have to switch back and forth to cut and paste each email from my contacts.
Is there a way to do this ?

Please be aware that Staff do not monitor all threads on the board. We Volunteers answer the threads we have relevant and correct answers for. If and when we have tried to resolve an issue in a thread unsuccessfully we type modlook into the sidebar tags for Staff attention. Staff only respond to threads with that tag in the sidebar. The answer is no. There is no means of adding a subscribers list or subscribing or unsubscribing on behalf of anyone else.. Here our subscribers control their own subscriptions and the frequency of receipt of posts.
You can have either a public or a private WordPress.COM hosted blog and there is no limitation on the total number of contributors to any blog. If you’d like to invite others to publish posts or help approve comments on your blog, you can invite them to be a Contributor, Editor, or Author. If you want users to receive updates each time you publish new content you can invite them to be a follower/viewer.
To change blog visibility to Private go to > Settings > Reading scroll to Blog Visibility and choose option 3. See the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings

That requirement is because the software has to be able to differentiate between hackers and official users and allow access only to those with username accounts and official roles on the blog.
They will need to click the “Accept Invitation” button in the invitation email. If they are logged into their WordPress.com account, they will be taken directly to your blog. If not, they will be taken to the log-in screen, where they can either log in or create a new user account.
Note that users who create a new WordPress.com account at that point will still need to return to the invitation email and click the “Accept Invitation” button after doing so.
Lastly, there is a built-in spammer prevention so send out only 10 invitations at one point in time and then wait and manage those before sending out 10 more.
I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide the username for the WordPress.com blogger you invited to be an Editor who cannot access your blog, and also post the email address for the other person you invited to be an Editor? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email address so only Staff can see it. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

You’re welcome. :) It’s best if you do not attempt to answer any thread that you don’t feel convinced you have a correct answer for. In cases where you think you do have a correct answer and you have tag searched and used Google search to confirm that your answer is reflected by answers to earlier threads correctly answered by Volunteers or Staff, but you are unsuccessful, then the modlook tag comes into play.

To clarify, I am trying to add my friends email addresses into the invitation space- I merely want to know if I can upload / import those addresses from my “contacts” much like uploading an image from my iPad- I have no idea what subscribers lists you reference just wanted to streamline inviting my friends – is there a way to do this? rather than entering each email address one by one?
