Can you timestamp (or at least date stamp) pages?

Atop the page, like the blog entries? Or is that limited to blogs?
I have 3 half-written books I’d like to post via WordPress.com – wish they could be Websites rather than blog-centered (though a home page blog is nice) – I think I have a lot to learn.
Oh that reminds me, is WP.com the best place to learn WP.com or do you have some favorite sites that offer tips, tricks and help?;-)

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t believe it can be automatically added to a page, because “Pages are not associated with a date/time like posts” but you could always add it manually yourself. Someone else might have a better answer for you, though. I mainly jumped in because I wanted to mention that there’s actually a way to write a book using WordPress.com.
As for learning WordPress.com, I’ve been getting back into WordPress since about the start of the year (I used to have a self-hosted blog many years ago) and I’ve found trying to answer other people’s questions on this forum has been a great way to learn more about the capabilities and limitations of the software. It sends me diving into the documentation to find out things I never would’ve thought of doing myself because other people are using this site for purposes very different from my own (such as writing books), and in turn that’s opened me up to greater possibilities with what can be done here. It helps that I had a background in web design and programming before I got into working in television, but if you can understand what people are asking about and can figure out what they really should be looking for, a lot of the information is available. Another good place to start is The Daily Post‘s Blogging University.

Hey I’m in TV too! Well I’m ‘the Web guy’ at our station.
Yeah I remember finding that “how to use WP.com to write a book” page before. Maybe I don’t want to write a book as much as break “the book” free of its paper confines even e-books cling to (visit my Website http://thenowedition to see what I mean (https://thenowedition.wordpress.com) . And my background is

Me, I just want to get my words out there, and having tried every Wix and Weebly and on and on … like Squarespace with all the big-photo, word-hating templates … maybe coming “back home” to WP.com is the right way to git ‘er done. Thanks!
