Hi there,
if you’re going to have a website on WordPress.com, you can keep the old domain name using Domain Mapping.
More informations here:

WordPress.com doesn’t accept incoming domain transfers. So you will have to keep the domain at your previous host and map it to your WordPress.com blog using the instructions in the support document provided by mrlubomir.

what’s an incoming domain tranfer? Take a domain from the other registrar for using here?
Just curious, thanks for the reply.

Incoming domain transfer means, transferring the domain purchased from other registrar to WordPress.com. This is not allowed on WordPress.com hence the domain mapping. When we map a domain, the domain is still at the registrar from whom it was purchased but is now is pointing to WordPress.com blog.
