Can you use IP addresses in domain mapping?

    Can I use the IP addresses of the WordPress nameservers instead of the hostnames NS{1,2,3}.WORDPRESS.COM?

    My ISP won’t accept the hostnames and requires me to enter IP addresses.
    But testing the domain with those settings, results in a warning that there is a mistake with the DNS settings.

    Domain to be mapped is annemiekvanderhulst.nl

    Any thoughts or experience is appreciated.

    Never mind, my bad. I was looking a DNS change form instead of the ‘change name server’ form. *sigh*

    I think I have it now, it accepted the 3 nameservers as expected and as I had done before.
