Can you use someone else's deleted blog name?
-
I am interested in signing up for a free wordpress blog using the following name: TheBigiDo(.wordpress.com); however, when I checked to see if the page was active by typing in the link in my browser, I found that the page could not be found/didn’t exist anymore. I also tried to sign up for an account using that name, and received a message stating it was already being used. I’d like to know if my request to use this name could be honored since it has been deleted. Please let me know how I can have access to this domain name for my new blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

http://thebigido.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site. The answer is no. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
